Dhroov Thanki, BDS (Birm) MFDS RCPS (Glasg)

Dhroov qualified as a dentist in 2018 from the University of Birmingham, and brings experience in family dentistry, restorative dentistry and managing periodontal disease. He has worked in Leicestershire since qualifying and has a passion for making anxious adults and children comfortable.

He has a firm belief that prevention is better than cure, and emphasises that a good oral home care regime is vital for long-term healthy teeth and gums. With his calm and empathic nature, Dhroov can tailor your oral regime to make sure everything is customised to your benefit.

Dhroov completed further qualifications with the Royal College of Practitioners and Surgeons in Glasgow to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons. This prestigious award recognises good communication skills and sound, holistic treatments that puts the patient first.

In addition to dental treatments, Dhroov is certified to provide facial aesthetics treatments, including anti-wrinkle therapies and superficial dermal fillers. He has had some great results with both male and female clients, customising treatments to ensure that the results match your needs. A painless experience is important, and combining facial aesthetics with cosmetic dentistry can provide a novel multi-faceted approach to your care.

Dhroov is excited to continue his education and develop skills in cosmetic orthodontics such as Invisalign and advanced facial aesthetics solutions.

An avid sports fan, Dhroov loves watching football & Formula 1, and hopes to go to his first F1 race in the future. He enjoys gaming, watching movies and spending time with the family. Dhroov also plays a classical Indian musical instrument (the tabla) and has performed multiple times, accompanying classical and fusion musicians in the local community.
