Viraj qualified from Charles University – First Faculty of Medicine with a Master’s degree in Dentistry and has a great passion in his career. He has worked as a General Dentist in Sheffield and also Leicester, gaining experience and knowledge in all aspects of Dentistry.
Viraj likes to build a strong rapport with his patients of all age groups and likes to make his patients feel comfortable with a gentle approach to his work and is keen to provide the greatest quality of treatment possible.
He has become one of the first Dentists in the East Midlands and England to have undertaken further skills training in Biomimetic Restorative Dentistry from the Alleman Centre of Biomimetic Dentistry in U.S.A. This aspect of Dentistry focuses heavily on preserving vital (alive) teeth where possible and restoring teeth to a normal function. The aim of his treatment is also to reduce the “Restorative Cycle” of a tooth which is
inevitable once the tooth has lost its original function and strength from decay and fractures, by providing high quality treatment methods into his work which are heavily backed by years of scientific research.
In addition, he also offers short term cosmetic orthodontic treatment including the InvisalignGO system.
Aside from his daily work, he likes hiking, travelling and experiencing new cultures. Viraj has a keen interest in health and wellbeing and has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and takes pride in his headstands and inversions!
